Anger Management for Adults – This is a 10-week class designed to improve anger management. In addition to developing general coping skills, sessions will be focused on developing empathy, using effective communication, adjusting unrealistic expectations, learning to forgive, and responding instead of reacting.

In addition to developing general coping skills, sessions will be focused on developing empathy, using effective communication, adjusting unrealistic expectations, learning to forgive, and responding instead of reacting. Separate groups for boys and girls.
Parenting Classes – This is a 10-week class that focuses on understanding children’s development and developing practical parenting techniques to help parents with children of all ages raise responsible children, have more fun in their role as a parent, and to effectively and appropriately manage their children’s behavior. We incorporate the Love and Logic® program into our classes. Individual classes are also offered.
Parenting Children of Autism – This a 10-week class is designed to assist parents of children with autism and Asperger’s Disorder by increasing one’s understanding of common difficulties, developing practical strategies to address social, emotional, and academic difficulties, and providing support from the group in order to prevent burnout.
Social Skills Group – This is an 8-week class that focuses on improving social skills for children who are shy, socially awkward, have difficulty making and maintaining friendships, or have behavioral problems in groups. We will emphasize cooperative behaviors, social communication, and social problem solving. Perfect for children with ADHD, autism, and Asperger’s Disorder. Offering groups for ages preschool (3-5), school-age (6-11), and adolescents (12-15).
Substance Abuse Treatment Group – We offer two types of programs for both adults and adolescents: an intermediate group that meets twice a week for 2 hours each session and an intensive outpatient group that meets 3 three times a week for 2 hours each session. Consultation with the referring provider, case manager, or agency is required prior to enrolling in the group.
